Hawaii Round II

We have been married for 9 years. Guess how many times we have moved.....NINE!! We just made move #9 last week. We are back in Hawaii and hopefully are here to stay for a while.

6 years ago when Scott told me he wanted to be a helicopter pilot I thought he was crazy. What really made me think he was crazy, was when people would ask him what kinds of things he could do as a pilot, he would say "lots of things, like tours in Hawaii....ect." In the back of my mind I was thinking "You are crazy if you think that is EVER going to happen!!" Well, it happened!

Scott got a job with Blue Hawaii. They are the biggest, oldest helicopter tour company in Hawaii. They have everything figured out, they fly great helicopters, and there is room for growth. We couldn't be more pleased with them. Scott said they are by far, the best company he has ever worked for. That is really saying something, he has worked for some great companies!!

Last time we lived in Hawaii we were on the island of Kauai. It was a beautiful place, but it was a little too small for my taste, and the circumstances weren't ideal. This time we are on The Big Island. Scott is working in Hilo. There is a lot more shopping and overall land mass. I don't think I will get island fever as easily this time!

The tour he will be flying is really cool! It goes over the macadamia nut fields, the city of Hilo, and the coolest part, over the volcanoes! There are 5 active volcanoes on the island and he gets to fly over them every day!

We found a great place to live that is fully furnished and has a great yard!! We have starfruit, tangerines, avocados, breadfruit, grapefruit, lemons, and some other fruits that I have never heard of. I hope to start a garden soon and hopefully get some chickens so we can have some fresh eggs!!

Here are some pictures of our yard.
