This is a prime rib that my parents bought. It was so good! You "wrap" it in salt and roast it in the oven. When it is done you hammer through the salt!

For Christmas this year Dane got balloons. He loves balloons and since he still doesn't really understand the whole Christmas thing, we just put a bunch of balloons all over the living room for when he woke up in the morning! He came out saying "BA BA BAA!"

I got the best Christmas gift this year and I haven't quite figured it out yet! It is the SWEETEST camera! My brother-in-law Bodie (www.bodwa.com) has a photography business and he upgraded to a new camera...So I got his old one!!!!! It is really complex and so so so cool! I have actually taken a ton of pics but I haven't figured out how to get them on the compy! They are coming though!

Not so happy about being Santa Scott! Our friends Chase and Melissa are activity leaders for their ward. They were in charge of the ward Christmas party. But...they couldn't find anyone to be Santa. Chase asked Scott if he would do it and to EVERYONE'S surprise! HE DID!! I think Scott was more surprised than the rest of us!! Chase took him out to the Lucky Buffet the next day as a thanks! (I thought he looked great!)

5 years and counting!

Today is our 5 year anniversary! It really has gone by so fast. I love Scott so much! He is the best husband and he really gets better at it all the time!
Reasons I love Scott:
He is probably one of the most talented people I know. Le me just mention all the cool things he does:
1. He is a guitar genius! He can whip out any kind of song! He dosen't just kind of play the guitar, he really is a GREAT muscian!
2. He is a songwriting genius! He has written me several love songs and I love all of them! That is romance! He also writes some pretty awesome non-love songs too.
3. He is an incredible writer! He has started so many books and all of them are interesting and gripping! (espescially the pirate one!)
4. If he wanted to be an athlete he could probably be an olympic athlete! He will do things if I dare him too that amaze me!! Once he did this wicked yoga pose that would kill anyone else!
5. He knows everything....almost. I can ask him any kind of question and he will tell me the answer or give me a pretty believable lie!
6. He refuses to do anything that makes him unhappy! He didn't like the idea of sitting behind a desk for a living, so he learned how to fly helicopters and make a living at it! I love that about him!
7. He is a wonderful father. My children are very lucky!
These are only a few of the reason that I love Scott. He is my best friend and he makes me feel safe by his side! I love you Bear!

Dane was so so happy to be able to run around in the dirt and go as fast as he wanted to! I'm sure you can tell by the expression on his face that he was having a great time!

Vegas

While we were waiting for the Ellen Show to start we each played one dollar at the slots! Scott lost his in less than 30 seconds. and I turned mine into $2.55! Don't worry! My gambling days are over!

The Ellen Show!!!!

About a month ago I was looking on Ellen's website and say that she was going to Vegas. I signed up for tickets and about a week later I got a call from the show!!!

Scott and I went to the show Friday!! It was a lot of fun! We were excited because we thought that our seats were on the 3rd row.....WRONG! They were on the 3rd row of the balcony! But it was okay because we could still see pretty well.

The guests were Bette Midler, Hans Something (a magician from Vegas), and Pink. Our favorite part was Pink!! She was so cool!!

Anyway!! I've always really loved the Ellen Show and I was so excited to see her! She was cool!

Thanks to Grandpa Kirk for coming and hanging out with Dane while we went! He had a blast. And it was really nice to just hang out with my hubby!

Our Little Drummer Boy!

I'm SURE that Dane is going to want his own drum set some day. He can't get enough. I sat there with him for 30 minutes and when I finally got tired of sitting there I picked him up and said "all done" and he was SO SO SAD! It's fun to see him being so musical already! Just like his dad! Thanks for the drums Chase!

Halloween!

Our good friends Chase and Melissa had a fun Halloween party at their house. This is the whole group. I have been hesitant to post the pictures because Scott and I went as polygomists and I didn't want to offend any one! If you are offened I'm sorry! We went to DI and got these costumes about 2 hours before the party! But I must say, I think we pulled it off!

Larry and Natalie are the bounty hunters!

Kasey and Ian (spelling?) are Greek Gods. I don't which ones!

Chase and Melissa are Zeus and Hera. (Dane would scream everytime Chase would put on the beard!)

Last but not least....Scott jorgensen and his first wife!
